“Visual Arts Collective, Boise Idaho can’t believe it! New York doesn’t have this, LA doesn’t have this, San Francisco doesn’t have this. Art, music, nice people, good drinks…they don’t have any whiskey but that’s okay.” ~ John Doe (X)

The Egyptian was built in 1927 and has been a showhouse for Boise ever since. Located in the heart of downtown just before the capitol building, this classic theatre offers a wide variety of music and performances from speakers like Elizabeth Walker (Eat, Pray, Love author) to bands like Okkervil River and the Civil Wars.
